Elly Kleinman Held a Geriatric Convention

On the occasion of the International Older People’s Day, celebrated worldwide on the 1st of October, Elly Kleinman CEO of the Americare Companies held a gerontological convention at NYC Health Institute, talking about healthy habits for the elderly.

The chief executive of Americare, Elly Kleinman opened the convention with a lecture on "Prospects of gerontological care" focusing mainly on the rising healthcare trends, and the specificities of the gerontology service in the United States. Assessing America’s older people healthcare system as appropriate, Elly Kleinman pointed out that ensuring a healthcare service for the elder is one of the main indicators of the progress or failure for the entire nation’s healthcare system.


Within his speech, Elly Kleinman presented the demographic and gerontological public health indicators of America’s population, pointing out the importance of the Gerontology Department as part of the Public Health Institute in New York City for the promotion and protection of older people’s health. Americare head executive also commented on the historical facts about geriatrics care in America and the ecological benefits of living in this region.

The geriatric convention was attended by official authorities, city representatives’ directors of Healthcare Centers, CEO’s of facilities for elderly and disabled and other institutions and companies, as well as civil organizations concerned about the older people’s healthcare. Elly Kleinman also discussed the health needs of the elderly, taking into account the needs of the healthcare organization for older people, as well as the issues of institutional and non-institutional healthcare facilities across America.

In his closing argument, Elly Kleinman concluded that the aging process of the American population needs to be accompanied by an effective, available and rational protection of the older people healthcare.
